Sari Cantor is a Partner with Recruiting in Motion – Ottawa. Sari has spent 20+ years engaging people across professional portfolios and working with companies to ensure they attract the best talent. Beginning her career with a large multi-national recruitment firm, Sari took her skills and network and launched Recruiting in Motion – Ottawa in 2013. Clients and candidates in Ottawa have come to appreciate Sari as a subject matter expert in all areas of talent acquisition. She has been able to assist many local companies (private and public) through their hiring and retention strategies.

Being born and raised in Ottawa, Sari has a unique understanding of her local market from compensation grids to employment statistics to what “makes the National Capital Region special”. She has developed long term relationships by being much more than just a recruitment resource and has nurtured personal relationships that have spanned over two decades.

Crystal grew up in a predominantly agricultural community in Western Quebec, that she still has strong ties to today. After post-secondary graduation Crystal spent time with the federal government practicing social work and law enforcement. This eventually led to a career shift where she fell into a role within the staffing industry, now 10 years later the rest is history. She has diligently worked her way up the ranks from Operations Support to Recruitment. She specializes in the recruitment of Administration, Accounting Operations and Property Management.  She continues to grow and expand her skills and knowledge while pursuing her passion for helping people, problem-solving and ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the office.

Crystal has the unique ability to understand and anticipate the needs of candidates and clients alike based on her years of hands on experience in these roles. Her straight-forward, “can do” attitude and approach to life, combined with her sheer determination and relentless “country girl” work ethic will no doubt benefit her colleagues, candidates and clients alike.

Fun/Interesting Facts:

• Crystal will always win the award for the most interesting and entertaining real life stories and experiences, stemming from everyday life, to her farm and horse show adventures which take her around the globe. They are a true favourite in the Ottawa office.
• Crystal and her family pursue their passion of Clydesdale Horses (yes, the iconic “Budweiser Horses”). Often her time away from work is referred as “showcation”, 9 times out of 10 it is horse related and involves early mornings and late nights. This is not what many people would consider R&R.
• Crystal enjoys spending as much time as possible with her many nieces and nephews, whom share the same love for agriculture and exhibiting horses. She and her family travel across Canada and the United States to world class competitions with their 6 horse hitch of Clydesdales. She is proud to carry on the family tradition being a 4th generation Show-Woman

Greg specializes in platform strategy and systems engineering, offering invaluable insights into how the synergy between human capital and scalable technology transforms a business's trajectory and financial health.

Fun/Interesting Facts:

• The Road to Single Digit – He is an avid golfer who treats the fairway like a laboratory. He is currently on a focused mission to reach a single-digit handicap, utilizing a data-driven approach to master his swing mechanics and shot consistency.
• When he’s not optimizing technical architectures or recruiting the talent to run them, he is focused on his own performance benchmarks as a powerlifter. Having officially joined the 1,000 lb Club, he brings that same relentless drive for precision and "heavy lifting" to the strategic growth of his clients' organizations.
• He is a competitive pickleball player, regularly hitting the courts for doubles matches with his wife (and always looking for that perfect ATP shot).

Born and raised in the west-end of Ottawa, Pauline is excited to be one of the newest members of the Recruiting in Motion Team!

After completing her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at the University of Guelph, her passion for meeting new people and traveling determined her next step of living and working abroad in Ireland and Scotland for two years. After thoroughly enjoying the Irish/Scottish lifestyle and traveling as much of Europe as she could, Pauline returned home and took that passion for meeting people and applied it to her newfound career as a Technical Recruiter in 2013.

Since then, Pauline has applied her love for helping people and customer service to her job.  Her primary focus in the last 9 years has been recruiting variety of IT related technical and functional consulting roles across the entire IT portfolio. Pauline looks to leverage her experience in IT recruitment, and exceptional interpersonal skills, to broaden her network across the Marketing, Communications, and Human Resources industries, while maintaining her pulse on Ottawa’s technology sector. Being a Professional Recruiter allows her to connect with new people daily and challenges her to get creative when trying to find a diamond in the rough.

Fun/Interesting Facts

• Pauline has traveled to 11 different countries and cannot wait to continue seeing as much of the world as possible
• She is very creative and can take on most art projects, but especially loves painting and drawing portraits
• Loves to cook! She will try any food once and is continuously experimenting with different recipes. Among friends and family is she is known for her homemade pizza and charcuterie/cheese boards!

Michaela is a Recruitment Consultant for Recruiting in Motion’s Ottawa office. She grew up in the East end of Ottawa and spent most of her childhood on a basketball court.

Michaela is a Nipissing University graduate with a Double Major in Social Welfare & Child and Family Studies. After graduating from post-secondary, Michaela worked in the administrative space for a few years. She has now transitioned into the staffing industry where she specializes in the recruitment of Administration, Property Management, Human Resources and Marketing.

She has spent majority of her life playing elite level basketball. After playing at the University level, she decided to shift her love for the game into a coaching role where she has been Assistant Coaching a U16 boys’ team with the Gloucester Cumberland Basketball Association. She also spends her weekends as a Weekend Manager working at the Ronald McDonald House where she gets to create special relationships with several different families and interact with children of all ages.

Fun Facts:

– Went to Arusha, Tanzania for several weeks to volunteer teaching at an elementary school

– Michaela will always have an athletic/competitive mindset and lifestyle. When she is not working or coaching, you can find her in either a GoodLife gym or at her kickboxing gym

– She loves to bake (especially cookies & brownies)
